It has been awhile since I have posted anything here. I have been busy and busy contemplating things. Just a little background, just recently my Dad passed onto Glory. He was 95 years old, now that is a really good run! During the time that he was in the hospital, my wife was in a different hospital, now think about that for a moment! Yes, I was a busy bee bouncing between there and there and here! Now the good news is my wife is home and recovering nicely. I spent so much time in prayer that I did not even know when and if I was praying! But that is alright because the Bible says this:
1 Thessalonians 5:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 Pray without ceasing.
Now about the contemplating, with my Dad basically in the process of dying, we had some hard decisions to make. I am not going to go into detail on those here. One of the things I realized is that there is a cure for every disease, and that cure is physical death. Folks, that is the harsh reality of life. But, if one is a Christian, then there is eternal life, that is spiritual for a time, then when Christ returns, it will be physical in a glorified body, I can’t wait for mine! No more pain, no more tears! Eternal joy! WOW!
I am still exhausted from the past few weeks, but I am catching up on the rest that I need. There is more I would like to post, but I am getting tired and it is fast approaching my bedtime and I have medicine to take and need to make sure my wife takes hers. So, for now, I will say good night! And watch for an update in the next few days for more on my contemplations!
